Martin has over 30 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals and communication. He has national, regional, and global brand experience, ranging from specialty areas including organ transplantation and haemophilia to global blockbuster brands in rheumatology.
Following a pharmaceutical career, which took him to Switzerland and the US, Martin returned to the UK to accept a partnership at the medical communications agency, Synergy. In 2014 Martin established ELM Group to bring his extensive knowledge back to his hometown with a focus on developing young talent.
Martin has experience in all regions of the world having delivered programmes in over 50 countries on 6 continents, from global congresses to specialist advisory boards. His broad experience ensures that he can bring practical knowledge to whatever challenges you face.
Outside of work Martin's main interest is in rugby. He served on the legacy group for the 2015 Rugby World Cup and as Chairman of Stafford Rugby Club. He set up “The CAST”, a volunteer programme at Newcastle Falcons, and has recently established a charity, Sustainable Sports Foundation.
